The Ajna Center

The Ajna is the place where information is stored, and in many ways acts in tandem with the Head Center. The Ajna is all about concrete thinking, data analysis, processing and storage of information, and is based in the anterior and posterior pituitary in the brain. 40% of the world population will have this center defined.

If you have a defined Ajna, you likely have a pretty fixed way of thinking and believing, and you store data like a filing cabinet. You can probably pull out all sorts of facts and data, especially about things that are important to you, and there may even be some things that you "know that you know," even if you don't remember how the data was stored in your Ajna to begin with! Some might call you “stubborn,” because once fixated on belief, it is difficult to change your mind! Being open to the possibility that beliefs can (and should) change and morph throughout life will help you have a less rigid outlook on things, and will allow more flow of ideas to come.

If you have an open Ajna, you are like 60% of the population. You are designed to be open-minded and open to unlimited perspectives. You may very well be a “mind reader!” Because you are designed to take in information and ideas, you see the different layers and levels of understanding. As a result, it can be a challenge to hold on to a fixed idea; you can do it, but it takes a great deal of effort. But you are designed to be malleable, not fixed. You may find that you struggle to remember facts and information, and perhaps you have discovered that it’s best to write an important thought down when you really need to remember it.

As I stated earlier, the Ajna and Head work together–if you have an open Ajna, you will also have an open Head. As a result, you will feel the pressure that comes from the Head to be certain, to hold onto fixed ideas, and to concentrate on the goal. But that’s not how you were made to function.

Your gift is that you can see many sides of an issue; you have understandings that are fluid and change all the time. You were made to be a free-thinker, and that ability is part of what causes Humans to evolve!

Your imagination and ideas are your Creative Power!
